Verge was created to consult with organizations and transition themselves from one state to the next, offering services from organizational health assessments to team coaching. Conveying this idea of liminal space, or midway point in a transitional period, was the focal point in this logo design.
The “v” shape was created from a graphic type treatment to emphasize the first letter of Verge and acts as a the threshold for the type to pass through, alluding to movement as well as the company’s services. This transitional illusion was further defined by the addition of textured dots. The client requested blue tones and we responded with a blue color palette, including yellow as an accent.
